Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar and is named after the Canadian Labrador Peninsula, where the stone was first found in 1770. It is now found in Canada, Madagascar, Mexico, Russia, and the USA. This stone is used to awaken the magic within, awareness, and also leveraged for divination. The most common Sheen or Flash found on Labradorite is Blue, however, this feldspar keeps it interesting... depending on the layering and polishing process you may find quite a variety of colors. Pink, Purple, Peach among some of the hardest to find.
