Bearberry,also known as Uva Ursi leaf, is an evergreen plant originally from Spain. Popular berry amongst the bears as they snack on the red berries hence the name. Bearberry has long been used in the Native American culture in religious ceremonies and in making salves and topical ointment medicinally.
