These spheres are actually a combination of Green Moonstone with thread-like veins of a green nickel ore called Garnierite. Garnierite is a feldspar moonstone with the presence of nickel which gives it a greenish hue. Green Moonstone which is a less common form of Moonstone can also be found with the strokes and shades of grey, white, pink, blue, or peach.
