Aventurine is a member of the quartz family. The name comes from the Italian a ventura, a type of glass found in the 1700s. They kept it due to the sparkles in Aventurine that looked similar to the glass. Mostly found in Russia, India, and Brazil. The Blue is actually from the copper silicate inclusions.
Aventurine resonates with Wind and Water, stimulating the mind and heart. Cooling effects on the aura and nervous system.
