Found in South Africa, these Spirit Quartz specimens are a very unusual variety of Quartz. Typically comprised of Amethyst, as well as Citrine and White/Clear Quartz specimens have been found, however, these pieces are Ametrine (a mixture of Amethyst and Citrine). Spirit Quartz is also known as Cactus Quartz or Porcupine Quartz
